We bring you a glamorous Austin, Texas fête fit for a Southern belle, captured by the talented Ivy Weddings. This Chicago bride was indeed the belle of the ball in her soft and romantic Marisa gown and stunning Badgley Mischka peep toes. The Allan House, a stately Victorian mansion built in 1883, provided the perfect backdrop for this elegant affair. Unique Chicago touches, such as the mini Chicago style hot dogs, were included just for fun. We simply adore the vibrant and summery green, coral and white color combination.

If you’re planning a destination weddding, consider incorporating your favorite Chicago eats or elements for added personality.

From the Bride: I loved everything about our wedding! I loved that our guests all traveled to Austin (no one was local) and they endured the extremely hot Texas heat for us!

What made our wedding unique was having 90′s boy band music. We also had late night snacks, which consisted of mini chicago hot dogs—a shout-out to Chicago! Our guest gift bags had had stickers that were cartoon figures of ourselves and our wedding attire from Etsy.com. And we had custom cake toppers that were wooden figurines of ourselves and our wedding attire from Etsy.com.

The vendors I would recommend from our wedding are: Ivy Weddings Photography; Wild Poppy (florist/decor); Allan House (ceremony/reception venue); BZ Events (wedding coordinators).
