All aboard for a luxurious lakefront wedding, captured by the award-winning Colin Lyons Wedding Photography. The bride, who studied fashion design at Columbia College, designed the gorgeous belt for her stunning Lazaro gown, along with other accessories. The couple’s adorable bulldog, Capone, walked down the aisle in a dapper bow tie. We adore the sophisticated nautical-inspired touches sprinkled throughout the celebration. The flowers and cake were monochromatic shades of white to offset the navy accents. (Check out Betsy Striltschuk’s recent White Inspiration Board for stylish ways to incorporate white as your main wedding color.)

The Chicago Yacht Club was the ideal setting for captivating views of Lake Michigan and the impressive Chicago skyline. During the evening, guests were treated to fireworks in the distance at Navy Pier. What a romantic way to celebrate their newly married life.
