When the groom proposed, he wrote the bride a message in a bottle, which she “discovered” during one of their walks along the beach. In light of this touching proposal, as well as the bride’s love of the birds of paradise flower, Windsor Event Studio created the wedding vision by incorporating hues of burnt orange and strawberry along with elegant, tropical details. The bride’s bouquet was a masterpiece of bright tropical orchids, birds of paradise, ranunculus, calla lillies and pincushion protea with a collar of white ostrich feathers. Bridesmaids carried similar bouquets accented with orange ostrich feathers, and the groomsmen sported colorful boutonnieres of orange calla lillies with blue orchids. As guests were seated, they collected mini “message in a bottle” programs. The aisle was lined with palm frawns and framed by driftwood arrangements. Looking stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown, the bride made her entrance to the tunes of a steel drummer. Following the ceremony, guests were given seashells to cast into the ocean upon making a wish for the couple’s future.
