It’s feted bliss for these charming high school sweethearts who were engaged for years and thoughtfully planned their special day, captured by the talented Paul Retherford Wedding Photography. Fortunately, it was a perfect sunny day for their sophisticated wedding at the Odyssey Country Club. As for their pink, black and cream color palette, we’ll admit it was love at first blush.

If you want a fairy tale wedding venue, consider the Odyssey Country Club. Impress your guests with their grand foyer, cathedral ceilings, winding staircase, over-sized crystal chandelier and beautiful wood burning fireplace. The Odyssey’s ballrooms offer exquisite views of their golf course, picturesque lakes, fountains, gazebo’s and gardens. All ballrooms have access to their outdoor terrace which allows your guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings their receptions offer. Their wrought-iron gazebo offers the perfect location to host your wedding ceremony. Get married with a backdrop of lush flowers, a lake that is home to many swans and a 40-foot fountain.

Paul, can you tell me where the umbrella is from? I like it.

  3. Kathy says:

I made the umbrella. It was very simple. I bought a paper umbrella from Oriental Trading for $6.95. I typed out “Thank You” and enlarged it using an Elmo. Then I simply traced the letters. So glad you like it. This picture became the thank you note.
