Here’s to a rustic vintage California wedding that truly takes the cake! Everything from the weathered signage to the simply elegant jar centerpieces makes us swoon. The bride applied her talent and designed it all from staining the wood tables to bringing wooden wine barrels down from Napa Valley to serve as cocktail tables. The food was served on old tables and her mom collected all the vintage mason jars and vintage napkins used for cocktails and dinner and her grandma sewed the table runners. This gorgeous reception took place on a Private Estate in Coto de Caza on a rustic pasture. Each detail was captured by Jennifer Gilmore Photography along with second shooters: Tulips & Tangerines and Honda Photo Art. Even though this divine celebration took place in Orange County, you can easily get a similar look in Chicago. Scour flea markets and vintage shops for jars and other nostalgic accessories that catch your eye and build around your theme. Ask family and friends to donate items or get involved in the search as well. If you’re inspired to tackle DIY projects, then look to Martha Stewart Weddings for the latest how-to projects.
