The advent of a new month begs for a fresh start–a different yoga rotation at your gym, the pledge to whip up recipes using the best seasonal ingredients, and even another chance at wiping this month’s credit card bill clean.

That’s why we are so over-the-moon to give you a sneak peek of TWO introductions for October. We’re all about celebrating the path to the perfect wedding and life beyond the big day, and thanks to our publisher Sacha Krasney, we have a two-for-one special.

That’s right: we are tingling with excitement to debut our first annual Be U Weddings’ Bridal Guide, the tell-all handbook with everything you need to plan the most fabulous Chicagoland wedding. Stay tuned for its arrival on Tuesday, October 9. You’ll want to be one of the first to get your hands on the goods! We can’t announce the birth of our Bridal Guide without a nod to another introduction in the Be U world (and paying homage to what comes after “I do”!): welcome Tybee Rose Krasney, the first daughter of our publisher, to the world!

Q: Why did you want to launch a Bridal Guide?

We’re constantly seeking out the best wedding vendors in the city to be able to share top of the line advice with our Chicago Brides. We are launching The Bridal Guide to share our research in an e-magazine format so that brides can have a guide with real Chicago resources when planning their big day.

Q: Why should every Chicago bride use this as her resource?

In the bridal guide Brides will read advice about flowers, cakes, venues and more from the best Chicago wedding planners, florists, caterers.. etc. They will be able to print out useful tools such as a planning calendar, registry checklist and liquor list.

Q: Congrats on little Tybee! What’s it like giving life to two amazing accomplishments at the same time?

It is amazing! I am in love with both! and I am so excited to share!

Q: What can our brides look forward to in marriage and motherhood after all the big day hoopla?

Your wedding is the only day you can celebrate with all of your friends and family in one room. It is an amazing day–cherish it and make it special. Don’t sweat the small stuff and just enjoy being with your loved ones on that day. Marriage is fantastic. It is really a wonderful feeling to spend every day with your best friend and love of your life. Having a baby… There aren’t even words! I’ll try to explain when/if we launch beubabies.com…
