Charles and Diana. William and Kate. Oh how we fancy an elegant British wedding, and today’s enchanting fête in historic Gloucestershire is spot on! The bride looked divine in her gorgeous gown, and her groom looked gentlemanly in his grey suit with tails. Touches of bright pink added a modern twist and vibrant pop of color to an otherwise traditional celebration. Beautifully captured by Charlene Morton Photography, the happy couple looked charming in the English garden and at their luxurious, yet intimate hotel reception.

How can you bring a little British flair to your upcoming Chicago wedding? We’ve recommended some noteworthy vendors {listed below} to recreate a truly triumphant British soirèe. {Consider the darling “Eat, Drink and Be Married” drink cozies featured in our recent Urban Loft Wedding for a playful addition.}

From the Bride: Tom and I met through a mutual friend that I went to school with and he went to uni with. We met up on nights out and eventually got together. I love the seaside and picnics. So, Tom told me to pack a bag and off we went. I didn’t know where we were going. We ended up in Bournemouth. He dropped me off at the hotel and had booked me in for a treatment in the spa. I had that while he got a picnic. Later that eve we then went out to dinner and for a walk along the beach and he popped the q!

The day was gone in a flash. I got ready at my mum’s house while Tom was with the boys. We got married at Upton St Leonard’s Church and then onto the reception. We had 76 guests in the day and 100 in the evening.
